Israelite Ministry Dance Team
Our Goal:
To break the chains and bondage's of God’s people through dance. To release his presence through our praise and worship in the atmosphere. To heal, deliver, set free, glorify God, praise and worship Christ and rejoicing in the Lord, ALWAYS!!! To dance with all our might (2 Samuel 6:14)!!!!!
We are NOT for entertainment purposes or for show and not to display ourselves but to display Christ.
Our Commitment:
Walking in unity as a team and demonstrating the power of unity. Remaining humble, and always seeking after God. Remaining open to the Holy Spirit and instructions and correction from the Lord. Releasing ALL hindrance in order to be effective in ministry.
Member Requirement:
Must be 18 years or older. Auditions may be required. Must be attending a church regularly. A Christian, saved, baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). Either attend a bible study or read the bible regularly. Must be a worshiper and able to flow with the direction of the spirit of the Lord. Must have a heart for the Lord and a desire to please God. Rhythm skill of dance should be at a medium and above level with a requirement of some dance experience.
Dues:
$5.00 per month. This will go towards dance equipment (flags, banners, ribbons etc.) garments, music and anything else to invest in the enhancement of Israelite dance ministry.
Why the name Israelite Dance?
The Lord gave me this name because we are not only supposed to reach this city, but also reach nations and all cultures, and generations through dance. The land of Israel has historic biblical meaning. God changed Jacob’s name to Israel after he wrestled with an angel (Genesis 32:24-32) and also when he let go God blessed him. Jacob's descendants came to be known as the Israelites, eventually forming the tribes of Israel and ultimately the kingdom of Israel. God blessed Israel and we shall receive those same blessings today as Christians. We are descendants and inheritors of Israel through Jesus Christ and as they worshiped and praised the Lord through victorious battles and blessings we shall do the same through dance…so the descendants of Israelite will keep dancing forever. ISRAELITE, DANCE!!!!
